I started my millwork career in 2003 as a drafter and soon developed a passion to learn all I could about millwork. I began taking on more responsibilities and learned to estimate millwork. From 2006 – 2009 I worked for an architectural firm as a project engineer in Los Angeles, California. In 2009, I came back to the DC area and started working for several reputable millwork companies as an estimator. In 2010 I became a senior estimator responsible for all facets of the sales process which included projects in value of more than five million dollars. Currently, I am a project manager and am responsible for material take off, purchasing materials, internal coordination and external coordination with other trades. Ultimately I am responsible for making sure the project is on schedule, meets its completion date while maintaining the Washington Woodworking quality.
