NEW PM – ROBERT STERMER

Robert (Bob) started his career in millwork in 1982 as an assembler and has held titles as an installer, carpenter, project manager, and department manager. Bob is a Project Manager and is responsible for material take off, purchasing materials, internal and external coordination with other trades. Bob has certification in Carpentry from York County Technical School. Bob is a Penn State fan and loves to camp and fish.

 

HOLLI HUNTER JOINS THE TEAM

Holli joined the Washington Woodworking team in February as our Director of Client Relations. In this role she manages business development, client relationships and social media. Holli is originally from Ohio and has spent the majority of her career in commercial roles. Holli has a M.S. in Human Resources and B.S. in Organizational Leadership. She loves vacationing with her husband and is a both Steeler and Buckeye fan!

 

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

Washington Woodworking, along with several other organizations and volunteers participated in a “Back To School Campaign” in August of 2018 at a “Wings for Joy” event to help supply children with school supplies. See more pictures here.

 

MEMORIAM

Karl Sherman Hixson was born August 12,1953 and died May 14,2018. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Son and Brother. Karl worked at The Washington Woodworking Company in Landover, Maryland for 17 years and had been a cabinet maker for over 50 years. His friendship and dedication will be missed by all who knew him and especially by those who loved him.
